Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I spent time in Europe when my dad was playing basketball overseas up until I was 5 or 6. The season would end around May or June and we would head home, then head off to where he was playing the next year around September or October.

Where are you based now?

I’m currently based in Melbourne. I’ve been bayside now for three years and I’m really enjoying living in Melbourne.

Why were you drawn to Australia to play sport?

I’ve always wanted to play overseas, and I was drawn to the opportunity to do something special and different. Basketball players in the states are a dime a dozen, and I’ve seen footage of Australians playing a sport in front of a hundred thousand people – I wanted to be a part of that. I was excited to learn something and do something new.

What has been the Highlight of your career so far?

The highlight for me would be my debut for St Kilda. It was kind of a blur but I really enjoyed my first game signed. To top it off the game was played at the MCG. I can remember that better than I remember the game, so that was definitely a highlight.

What is your advice to young men and boys wanting to break into the industry?

Just give it your best, always try your hardest and improve as much as you can because you never know where it can take you. Also, most importantly have fun, because if you’re not enjoying what you’re doing then you may as well do something else.

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style is very casual, like an urban casual. I like to just throw something on and go. Usually it’s whatever fits – long tees and what not.

Why are you a fan of Johnny Bigg clothing?

I’m a fan because it’s hard for me to find clothes that fit me. I’m 6’8 so it’s definitely harder with long limbs to find clothes that fit. With Johnny Bigg, you can go instore and see how great the quality of the clothes are and they fit well. I feel confident wearing them and the style is very up to date with current trends.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, and then I moved to Sydney on a football contract when I was 17. I am 21 turning 22, so I’ve been here for just over four years roughly. It’s challenging being so far away from home but its good.

Where are you based now?

I am currently based in Sydney playing for the West Tigers. The team usually trains out at Concord or Campbelltown so it’s not too far.

How would you describe your personal style?

I’m not the most stylish person, but when I’ve got clothes from Johnny Bigg I’m all set. The rest of the time it’s kind of just a basketball shirt and shorts – casual.

Why are you a fan of Johnny Bigg clothing?

I am huge fan of the range. I feel like especially for bigger guys it’s got the right range for every kind of occasion and just the way it fits and comfortability I guess. I’m really comfortable when wearing their stuff.

What is your advice to young men and boys wanting to break into the industry?

In terms of professional sport just try to enjoy it as much as you can. Try your best to find the edge, whether its extras or making sacrifices and all that kind of stuff. But when you’re enjoying what you do that’s when you do it at your best. So I’d say just try your best to enjoy it.
