Sporting Styles
Dressing to the occasion isn’t only for formal events, but your usual day to day. Whether you’re spending the afternoon on the golf course, heading down to the boat club or even a footy game, sporting clothing can bring both comfort and style. When we say JB has an outfit for every occasion, we mean it! Let’s take a look at some sporty yet casual outfits that you’ll love to wear this year.
Get Active
Hitting the gym doesn’t have to mean putting on an old t shirt. Our range of activewear will have you looking great as you enter, and feeling good as you work out. From tees to shorts to outerwear, enjoy moisture-wicking properties that help to keep you cool and dry, as well as all your functional features. Don’t forget to complete the outfit with a pair of active ankle socks! We’ve added arch support and heel cushioning, so you’ll stay comfortable on your feet. Just choose between sizes 8-11, and 11+ depending on your shoe size.
Golfing
Of course, if you have a polo and smart pants in your possession, you already have a golfing fit! Polos have for a long time been associated with the game, alongside other sports like tennis, for their relaxed collar and breathable materials. Grab one with a classic print like the Callan Print Polo, or try something new with the Pheonix Zip Neck Polo.

Country or Boat Club
Even when you’re not actively participating, you need to look the part! Wear a pair of stretch chinos with a belt or dress pants, and style with a polo or button-down shirt for a touch of formality. Our Fresno Linen Blend Shirt in sizes XL to 9XL is a great option for something light and breathable (which you can layer over a tee if required), in a range of new seasonal colours like forest green and chambray blue. Don’t forget your loafers or boat shoes to tie off the look, and a hat if you’ll be outdoors on the deck!
We love to be a little playful with our socks, so why not add a pair to your outfit – bonus points if your novelty socks match the location!
At the Game
Heading out to the footy or cricket means dressing to the occasion, something comfortable to sit in for a few hours, that’s also ready for you to jump and cheer when points are scored. Grab a 100% cotton crew neck or v neck tee in your team’s colours, paired with one of our new denim shorts and sneakers.
Race Day
A day out at the races doesn’t have to wait for Melbourne Cup season. Our best styling tips for race ready fits this year is plenty of florals, paired with a neutral or earthy toned blazer/suit jacket for when it gets chilly. Don’t be afraid to break out the accessories, with not only sunnies and hats, but tie pins, lapel pins, pocket squares and fun socks all important for looking the part and feeling confident out on the track. Finish your outfit with a pair of dress shoes or polished Chelsea boots – all available in sizes 9 to 16 and featuring our special cushioning technology so you can stay on your feet all day without fuss.
