We are committed to using more sustainable packaging.
REDUCING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT/EMISSIONS
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and carbon emissions. We are currently calculating our carbon footprint and will use this to identify key areas we need to address.
OUR BAGS IN STORE
We are replacing single-use plastic bags in our stores with sustainably sourced paper alternatives which are recyclable.
Our current bags are made from 80% recycled materials.
ONLINE
Our online bags are made of 80% recycled materials.
We are in the process of replacing these with 100% recycled plastic.
PRODUCT PACKAGING
We are currently exploring more efficient and sustainable packaging solutions throughout our supply chain. Where we are unable to reduce packaging we are looking to replace the packaging with more sustainable solutions such as recycled plastic or reusable bags. In addition we are consolidating our shipments for maximum efficiency and to reduce our footprint.
SWING TAGS
Our Johnny Bigg Swing tags are sustainably sourced and can be recycled. In addition, from the end of 2022 all our woven labels will be made from 100% recycled yarn.

How you can help make a difference:
1. REDUCE PLASTIC
The faster you can make the switch from single use plastic to reusable alternatives the better. Our store bags are reusable and recyclable.
2. DONATE CLOTHING
Donate any unwanted clothing to a local charity or even sell or swap them too!
3. MAKE YOUR CLOTHES LAST LONGER
By following the care instructions. If a garment needs repair try see if it can be mended by replacing the button or fixing the hem. Johnny Bigg partners with UPPAREL to help you send clothes you no longer need for textile recycling.
4. USE COLD WATER
If possible when washing choose a cold wash as anything under 30C uses less energy and reduces your carbon footprint.
